Nikon 596 82mm Front Lens Cap JXA10068

This genuine Nikon 596 front lens cap fits 82mm filter threads to protect the front element from dust, scratches and fingerprints when the lens is not in use. It is designed for photographers who need a direct replacement for a lost or damaged original cap on compatible Nikkor optics. The press-fit design secures quickly without tools, keeping the glass covered during transport or storage.

Snap-on protection for 82mm threads

The cap snaps onto the filter thread of lenses such as the 300mm f/4 AF, staying in place inside a bag or on a strap-mounted camera. Its lightweight plastic construction adds negligible bulk while shielding coatings from airborne grit and accidental contact. Photographers requiring a tethered or pinch-style cap will need a different accessory, as this model uses a simple friction fit without a retaining cord or centre-pinch mechanism.
