Full-frame fisheye lens with 180° diagonal view, f/2.8 aperture and 0.25 m minimum focus
This fixed-length fisheye lens delivers a 180-degree diagonal angle of view on full-frame Nikon DSLRs. The f/2.8 maximum aperture supports low-light shooting and shallow depth of field. Autofocus operation and a Close-Range Correction system maintain sharpness from 0.25 m to infinity. It suits photographers who want dramatic, frame-filling perspectives for landscapes, architecture and creative close-ups.
The lens mounts directly on Nikon F-mount cameras, covering the full FX image circle while also working on DX bodies with a cropped field of view. Its compact, lightweight design adds minimal bulk to a kit bag. The non-zoom optical formula means fewer moving parts and a constant physical length during focusing. No lens hood is included because the built-in petal shape is integrated into the barrel.
Photographers moving from a DX ultrawide zoom gain true 180-degree diagonal coverage and a faster f/2.8 aperture across the frame. The jump is worth it when you need the distinctive fisheye curvature and edge-to-edge sharpness at maximum aperture. It does not serve shooters who require rectilinear correction, zoom flexibility or filter threads on the front element.

The lens focuses down to 0.25 m (0.85 ft) from the subject, so you cannot get any closer than that distance.
The lens has no motor or electronics that generate heat or noise; only the camera body’s autofocus drive and shutter make sound or warmth.
Only Nikon DSLRs that have a built-in autofocus motor (screw-drive bodies) will autofocus with this lens; entry-level models without the motor will require manual focus.
