Versatile wide zoom for Nikon DSLRs

The AF-S FX NIKKOR 16-35mm f/4G ED VR covers wide-angle to normal perspectives on full-frame bodies and delivers a 24-52.5mm equivalent on APS-C cameras. It suits travel, landscape and cityscape photographers who need a single lens for expansive scenes and everyday shooting. The constant f/4 aperture maintains consistent exposure throughout the zoom range.

Professional build with weather sealing

The lens barrel uses 17 elements in 12 groups including two ED and three aspherical elements to control aberrations. Nano Crystal Coat reduces ghosting and flare across wavelengths. Internal focusing keeps the length constant during AF operation while the Silent Wave Motor provides fast, quiet focus. A 9-blade rounded diaphragm produces smooth background rendering.

Vibration Reduction for handheld stability

Nikon VR II image stabilization allows handheld shooting at up to four shutter speeds slower than normal for sharper stills and video. The M/A focus mode switch enables instant switching between autofocus and manual override without menu diving. Internal focus design maintains working distance throughout the range for consistent composition.
