Versatile zoom range for varied scenes

The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR covers a useful wide-angle to short-telephoto span. Its constant f/4 maximum aperture maintains consistent exposure throughout the zoom range. This makes it a reliable choice for photographers who need flexibility without changing lenses. The bundle adds a filter kit, cap keeper and cleaning kit for immediate use.

Optical design handles aberrations well

Three aspherical elements and two extra-low dispersion elements work together to reduce spherical and chromatic aberrations. This delivers a high degree of sharpness and clarity across the frame. Nano Crystal Coat and Super Integrated Coating control flare and ghosting in challenging light. VR II image stabilization mitigates camera shake for sharper handheld shots.

F-mount limits use to compatible bodies

The lens uses the Nikon F mount, so it fits DSLR cameras with that mount. It will not mount natively on Z-series mirrorless bodies without an adapter. Silent Wave Motor provides swift autofocus with full-time manual override. The 77mm filter thread accepts standard screw-in filters included in the bundle.

Questions about this item

Will the 24-120mm f/4 lens mount on my older Nikon F-mount DSLR body?

Yes, the AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR uses the Nikon F mount and works with compatible F-mount DSLRs, providing autofocus via its built-in Silent Wave Motor.

How can I verify the VR II stabilisation is active after attaching the lens?

Half-press the shutter button; you should hear a faint hum and see the viewfinder image steady. The lens barrel also has an ON/OFF switch for the VR II system.

Does the bundle include a 77mm circular polariser or must I buy one separately?

The bundle adds a 3-piece filter kit, a lens cap keeper and a cleaning kit to the standard lens, caps, HB-53 hood and CL1218 case. The filter kit contents are not itemised, so a polariser may need separate purchase.
