Wide-angle prime for professionals

The AF-S NIKKOR 24mm f/1.4G ED is a wide-angle prime lens built for serious photographers who need an ultra-fast f/1.4 aperture. It delivers exceptional clarity through 12 elements in 10 groups including Aspherical and ED glass. The bundle adds a 77mm filter kit, lens wrap, cleaning kit and universal cap tether for immediate use.

Low-light capability and flare control

The f/1.4 maximum aperture provides extreme light gathering for challenging low-light conditions and beautiful background blur. Nano Crystal Coating reduces flare and ghosting typical of wide-angle designs. Silent Wave Motor enables swift, accurate autofocus during dynamic shooting situations.

FX and DX format compatibility

Optimised for FX-format cameras, the lens also performs powerfully on DX-format bodies. It is not suited for photographers who need zoom versatility or a narrower field of view for distant subjects. The fixed 24mm focal length defines its creative application.

Questions about this item

Is this the only version of the 24mm f/1.4G ED lens in the bundle?

Yes, the bundle contains a single 24mm f/1.4G ED lens with 12 elements in 10 groups, plus a 77mm filter kit, wrap, cleaning kit and cap tether.

What does the f/1.4 aperture deliver on a full-frame body?

The f/1.4 maximum aperture provides extreme light gathering and shallow depth of field for low-light shooting and strong subject isolation on FX-format cameras.

Which filter thread does the lens use and what size filters fit?

The lens has a 77mm filter thread, so the included 77mm filter kit and any other 77mm filters attach directly.
