Nikon BS-1 Hot-Shoe Cover 4731

This Nikon BS-1 cover protects the hot-shoe contacts on SLR and DSLR cameras from dust and moisture when no accessory is mounted. It fits directly onto the camera's accessory shoe and helps preserve the electrical contacts for reliable flash communication. The cover is a simple, lightweight protective accessory for everyday camera care. Photographers who want to keep their hot-shoe clean between shoots will find it useful.

Check your camera's hot-shoe type

Before ordering, confirm that your SLR or DSLR uses a standard ISO hot-shoe so the cover seats correctly. Cameras with proprietary or non-standard accessory shoes may not accept this cover. If your camera lacks a hot-shoe entirely, this accessory will not fit. Buyers who need protection for a cold shoe or a specialised mounting system should look for a different solution.
