Nikon D3500 DSLR Camera Body

The Nikon D3500 is a DX-format DSLR built for beginners and enthusiasts who want interchangeable-lens photography without complexity. Its 24.2MP CMOS sensor and EXPEED 4 processor deliver detailed images across a native ISO range of 100-25600. The bundle adds 15 accessories including a bag, tripod, flash and two 64GB cards so you can start shooting immediately. No lens is included in this body-only kit.

24.2MP Sensor Without Low-Pass Filter

The 24.2MP DX sensor omits an optical low-pass filter to maximise sharpness and resolution straight from the camera. Combined with the EXPEED 4 processor it enables 5 fps continuous shooting and Full HD 1080p video at 60 fps. This sensor characteristic decides whether the D3500 meets a buyer's need for maximum detail in stills and video.

Cooling and Power in Normal Use

The D3500 uses a passive cooling design with no internal fan so operation is completely silent during stills and video recording. Power comes from the included ULTIMAXX 1700mAh EN-EL14A replacement battery and travel charger. Typical shooting sessions run for hundreds of frames per charge with the optical viewfinder, while live view and video reduce runtime.

Questions about this item

How does the 24.2MP DX-format sensor perform in low light on the D3500?

The native ISO range of 100-25600 lets you shoot handheld in dim conditions without flash, and the missing optical low-pass filter keeps fine detail sharp at higher sensitivities.

What does the 11-point AF system cover when shooting through the viewfinder?

The Multi-CAM 1000 module uses 11 focus points across the frame, locking onto subjects quickly for stills at up to 5 fps continuous shooting.

Will the included 57-inch tripod and tabletop grip hold the D3500 body steadily for video?

Yes, both the full-size 57 tripod and the 6.5 tabletop pistol-grip tripod are rated to support the lightweight DSLR body for stable 1080p60 recording.
