The 51-point Multi-CAM 3500FX II autofocus system with 15 cross-type sensors handles moving subjects. This combination suits hobbyists stepping up from entry-level bodies who need speed and precision.

The camera delivers up to 8 fps continuous shooting with full autofocus and exposure tracking. The EXPEED 5 processor maintains performance across extended bursts without the slowdown seen in lesser models. Native ISO reaches 51,200 and expands to 1,640,000 for low-light work. Video recording supports 4K UHD and 1080p Full HD with stereo sound and power aperture control for consistent exposure.
