Nikon DX 35mm f/1.8G Prime Lens Bundle

This bundle centres on a new Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G prime lens built for DX-format F-mount cameras. It delivers a 52.5mm equivalent focal length with a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture. The package also includes a SanDisk 64GB Ultra memory card, a 52mm three-piece filter kit, a Pro sling backpack, a flexible 12-inch tripod, a card reader, a card wallet, a lens cap keeper, a cleaning kit and Corel photo software.

f/1.8 Maximum Aperture for Low Light

The lens’s f/1.8 maximum aperture is the specification that determines its suitability for available-light shooting and shallow depth-of-field control. A single aspherical element reduces spherical aberration and distortion while Super Integrated Coating suppresses flare and ghosting. A Silent Wave Motor provides fast, quiet autofocus with full-time manual focus override for both stills and video.

DX-Format Shooters Wanting a Complete Starter Kit

This bundle suits photographers using Nikon DX bodies who want a fast normal prime plus essential accessories in one purchase. It is not for users who need a zoom range, a wider or longer focal length, or compatibility with Z-mount mirrorless cameras. Buyers requiring FX coverage or a different maximum aperture should look at other options.

Questions about this item

What does the 35mm f/1.8 spec mean on my DX camera?

On a DX-format body the 35mm focal length gives a 52.5mm equivalent view and the f/1.8 aperture lets in plenty of light for low-light shooting and shallow depth of field.

Which mount does the AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G use and what does that limit?

It uses the Nikon F mount so it fits DX and FX DSLRs; on FX bodies the camera will automatically crop to DX mode.

What thread size do I need for the filters in the bundle?

The included filter kit uses 52mm threads which match the lens front diameter.
