The MB-D12 Multi Battery Power Pack attaches to compatible Nikon bodies and extends shooting time with additional power cells. It accepts the supplied MS-D12EN holder for one EN-EL15 rechargeable Li-ion battery or the MS-D12 holder for eight AA batteries. Alkaline, lithium, Ni-MH and Ni-Mn AA chemistries are all supported. The pack is sold new and includes both battery holders.

Power source flexibility

The grip operates with either one EN-EL15 battery or eight AA cells, and an optional BL-5 cover allows use of an EN-EL18 battery instead. Buyers who need the EN-EL18 option must purchase the BL-5 cover separately. EN-EL15 and AA batteries are also sold separately, so the accessory ships without any cells included.
