Nikon Z50II 20.9MP Kit

The Nikon Z50II mirrorless camera kit pairs a 20.9MP DX-format CMOS sensor with the EXPEED 7 processor for high-resolution stills and 4K video. It includes the NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm and 50-250mm VR lenses, covering wide-angle to telephoto focal lengths in a compact, lightweight system.

Suited for versatile creators

This kit serves photographers and content creators who want a portable setup for landscapes, street scenes, wildlife and portraits. The AI-powered autofocus detects nine subject types, including humans, animals and vehicles, with Eye-Detection AF. Buyers needing wider maximum apertures or full-frame sensor performance should consider other systems.

Handles wide-to-telephoto range

The 16-50mm lens spans wide-angle to standard zoom, while the 50-250mm lens reaches telephoto distances for distant subjects. Both feature Vibration Reduction for steadier handheld shots. The camera shoots up to 30 fps continuous and records UHD 4K at 60 fps or Full HD at 120 fps. Low-light capability extends to ISO 204800, though maximum apertures of f/3.5-6.3 and f/4.5-6.3 limit depth-of-field control and light gathering in dim conditions.

Questions about this item

Does the kit include the Z-mount lenses needed to shoot right away?

Yes, the box contains the NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR and the NIKKOR Z DX 50-250mm f/4.5-6.3 VR, so the camera is ready to use immediately.

Can I keep using my older F-mount lenses with this Z50II body?

F-mount lenses require the FTZ mount adapter, which is not included in this kit; without it the older glass will not attach to the Z mount.

How do I confirm the 4K 60 fps video mode is active after I set it up?

Switch to video mode, select the UHD 4K option in the movie settings, and verify the frame-rate indicator shows 60p on the flip-under touchscreen or electronic viewfinder.
