24.5MP Full-Frame Mirrorless Kit

The Nikon Z6 mirrorless camera kit includes the Z6 body and FTZ mount adapter, giving photographers a 24.5MP BSI FX-format CMOS sensor with EXPEED 6 processing for full-frame stills and 4K video. It suits enthusiasts and professionals who want a versatile mirrorless system with adapted F-mount lens support.

ISO 100-51200 Sensitivity Range

The sensor provides a standard ISO range of 100 to 51200 for low-light flexibility, while 5-axis in-body stabilization delivers up to five stops of shake reduction across yaw, pitch, roll, X and Y axes. Continuous shooting reaches 12 fps at full resolution, and 4K UHD video records at 30 fps.

FTZ Adapter for F-Mount Lenses

The bundled FTZ mount adapter allows use of existing Nikon F-mount lenses on the Z-mount body, preserving autofocus and exposure control with compatible AF-S, AF-P and AF-I optics. Installation is a direct bayonet fit; the main limitation is that older screw-drive AF lenses will not autofocus on this adapter.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the Z6 body alone or the bundle that includes the FTZ mount adapter?

The kit ships with both the Z6 mirrorless body and the FTZ adapter, letting you use existing F-mount lenses on the Z mount without buying the adapter separately.

What does the 24.5 MP BSI FX-format sensor actually deliver in everyday shooting?

The back-illuminated full-frame sensor captures more light, so images stay clean at high ISO and show fine detail across the 24.5 megapixel frame.

How does the Z mount interface affect lens choices and performance?

The large-diameter Z mount accepts native Z lenses and, with the included FTZ adapter, F-mount glass, maintaining full electronic communication and in-body stabilization.
