Questions about this item

Does the IP68 waterproof rating mean the Nilone F 18P tracker needs any special care after my dog swims?

The IP68 rating protects the tracker against rain, splashes and light submersion, so normal swimming or yard play is fine; just rinse it with fresh water and dry the magnetic protective case before reattaching.

What limits the Nilone F 18P tracker during a full day of hiking with my dog?

Real-time tracking runs continuously through the Apple Find My network, so the practical limit is the battery life of the locator itself; the package includes an extra replacement accessory so you can swap it without downtime.

Will the Nilone F 18P tracker get hot or make noise if it stays on my dog's collar all day?

The tracker has no fan, moving parts or screen, so it runs silently and stays at ambient temperature even during constant location updates while your dog is active.
