USB-C to USB-A adapter pair

This two-pack converts a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port into a standard USB-A female socket. It lets phones, tablets and laptops read flash drives, keyboards, mice, hubs and other USB peripherals that support OTG. The short 1-inch stub keeps the connection close to the device.

USB 3.1 Gen 1 speed ceiling

Data moves at up to 5 Gbps, which is the practical limit of the USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface used here. Power delivery reaches 5 V at 3 A, so the adapter can charge the host while a peripheral is attached. No faster protocol or higher current is supported by this design.

Nylon-braid and aluminium housing

The braided cable and metal shell resist bending stress at the port, a common failure point on ultra-short adapters. Because the body stays narrow, two units fit side-by-side on tightly spaced USB-C ports without blocking each other. Buyers who need a right-angle shape or a longer cable for desk routing will not find that here.
