Tailored fit for Motorola Edge 2022

The Nimbus9 Cirrus 2 case is designed exclusively for the Motorola Edge (2022) smartphone. Its precise moulding aligns with every port, button and camera cutout without covering sensors. The fitted skin profile adds protection while preserving the handset's original dimensions.

Magnetic mounting and drop protection

A built-in metal plate enables direct attachment to magnetic car mounts or desk holders without extra adhesives. Dual-layer construction combines a rigid plastic shell with a shock-absorbing inner layer rated for drops up to 10 feet. An extra set of customisable responsive buttons is included to replace the original tactile controls if desired.

Limits of a model-specific shell

Because the case is moulded for a single handset, it cannot be reused on other Motorola models or future Edge releases. The rigid plastic and matte finish resist daily abrasion but may show wear on sharp corners after repeated severe impacts. Buyers who switch phones frequently will need a new case each time.

Questions about this item

Will the built-in metal plate for magnetic mounts wear out or need replacing?

The metal plate is permanently integrated into the case body and has no moving parts, so it does not wear out or require replacement under normal use.

What limits the drop protection when the case is subjected to repeated impacts?

Military-grade drop protection is rated up to 10 feet; repeated severe impacts beyond that height can exceed the shock-absorbing inner layer's capacity and compromise protection.

Does the rigid plastic and dual-layer construction trap heat during all-day use?

The slim profile and matte-finish rigid plastic allow normal heat dissipation from the Motorola Edge (2022) without noticeable thermal buildup during continuous operation.
