Dual-Layer Protection

The Nimbus9 Cirrus 2 is a dual-layer case designed for the Apple iPhone Xs and iPhone X. It combines a rigid plastic shell with a shock-absorbent inner ridge to defend against drops and daily impacts. The crimson red finish offers a plain, professional appearance. It suits owners who want robust defence without adding bulk.

Integrated Mounting System

A powerful integrated mounting system turns the handset into a secure hub for compatible accessories and mounts. This feature frees the user from separate brackets or adhesives when attaching the phone in a vehicle or at a desk. Precise cutouts maintain full access to ports, speakers and camera lenses. Metallic buttons deliver tactile, responsive control over volume and power.

Military-Grade Drop Certification

The case meets or surpasses military standard MIL-STD 810G, providing verified protection that basic shells cannot match. It upgrades from single-layer covers that lack certified shock absorption and integrated mounting points. The jump is worthwhile for anyone who regularly uses phone mounts or needs proven drop survival for an iPhone Xs or X.

Questions about this item

Will the dual-layer construction and MIL-STD 810G certification handle repeated daily drops without cracking?

The case uses a rigid plastic outer shell with a shock-absorbent inner ridge and is certified to meet or surpass MIL-STD 810G for drop protection.

Does the integrated mounting system add bulk or trap heat against the iPhone Xs during all-day use?

The mounting system is built into the dual-layer frame without extra bulk, and the rigid plastic shell does not insulate heat differently from a standard case.

Do I need to buy a separate magnetic mount or metal plate for the integrated mounting system to work?

The powerful integrated mounting system works directly with compatible Nimbus9 mounts; no separate metal plate or third-party accessory is required.
