What this product is

The Nintendo Princess Peach Amiibo Figure is a collectible character figurine that connects with compatible Nintendo games. It uses near-field communication to unlock in-game bonuses such as outfits, power-ups and custom game boards when tapped to a supported device.

What to check before ordering

You will need a Wii U GamePad controller or a New Nintendo 3DS XL system to use the figure immediately. Older Nintendo 3DS models require a separate peripheral device that was scheduled to launch in 2015. Verify that your intended games support amiibo functionality and that you are prepared to delete existing save data before writing data from a different compatible game.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This figure suits collectors and players who own a Wii U or New Nintendo 3DS XL and want extra content in supported titles. It is not for buyers who only have an original Nintendo 3DS without the peripheral, players whose favourite games do not support amiibo features, or anyone seeking a figure that works with non-Nintendo platforms.
