Nisi 77mm Black Magic Diffusion 1/4 camera filter

77 mm Black Magic Diffusion 1/4 filter

The Nisi 77 mm Black Magic Diffusion 1/4 filter threads onto lenses with a 77 mm front diameter. It softens highlights and reduces contrast for a gentle, cinematic glow. The 1/4 strength gives a subtle effect suited to portrait and narrative work. Photographers and filmmakers seeking controlled bloom will find it useful.

Upgrading from no diffusion or lighter strengths

Adding this filter replaces shooting without diffusion or with a weaker grade when a more pronounced halation is desired. The jump is worth it when highlights need taming without losing overall sharpness. It is not for shooters who need stronger diffusion grades or different filter diameters.
