  • Optical glass construction maintains image clarity

95mm Black Magic Diffusion 1/4 filter

The NiSi 95mm Circular Black Magic Diffusion 1/4 filter fits lenses with a 95mm front thread. It softens highlights and reduces contrast for a cinematic look. The 1/4 strength gives a subtle bloom that suits portrait and narrative work.

Simple screw-on installation

Thread the filter onto the lens until it seats evenly; the thin frame avoids vignetting on most wide angles. Over-tightening can bind the threads, so stop when resistance increases. Clean with a microfibre cloth to prevent coating scratches.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 1/4 Black Magic Diffusion effect is working correctly on the 95mm filter after mounting?

Shoot a backlit scene or point light source; highlights should bloom softly with a gentle glow and shadows should lift slightly without losing overall contrast, matching the 1/4 strength rating.

What comes in the box with the 95mm Black Magic Diffusion 1/4 filter and what must I purchase separately?

The package includes the 95mm circular diffusion filter only; a compatible 95mm lens cap, filter pouch or front thread adapter for smaller lenses are not included and must be bought separately.
