NiSi ATHENA PRIME 18mm T2.2 Cine Lens

The NiSi ATHENA PRIME 18mm T2.2 Cine Lens is a full-frame cinema lens designed for Sony E-mount cameras. It delivers a 46mm imaging circle and features a fast T2.2 aperture for shallow depth of field. Consistent focus and iris ring positions allow seamless operation alongside other lenses in the ATHENA series.

Suited for filmmakers needing wide-angle cinema

This lens suits cinematographers requiring a wide 18mm focal length with unified handling across the ATHENA lineup. Minimal focus breathing ensures stable framing during focus pulls. Buyers who need a built-in drop-in filter holder should look at alternative models, as this version is supplied without that feature.

18mm focal length with T2.2 aperture

The 18mm focal length provides a wide field of view for expansive scene capture on full-frame sensors. A maximum aperture of T2.2 enables strong subject separation and low-light capability. This specification defines the lens's creative reach and exposure flexibility for professional production.
