A thin brass ring with knurled edges and matte black finish, connecting 49mm lens thread to 67mm filter thread

Nisi

Nisi Brass Pro 49-67mm Step-Up Ring camera filter

SKU CH-EQXP-SARNV

Adapts 49mm lens threads to accept 67mm filters using a brass frame that resists jamming and includes internal anti-reflective treatment

  • Use 67 mm filters on 49 mm lenses
  • Brass alloy frame resists jamming and binding
  • Knurled sides give secure grip when fitting
  • Anti-reflective felt inside cuts internal reflections
  • Matte black finish reduces stray light

Thread conversion

The Nisi Brass Pro step-up ring lets photographers mount 67mm threaded filters onto lenses with a 49mm front thread. It bridges the two sizes without adding optical elements so image quality is unaffected.

Brass frame prevents binding

The ring is machined from a brass alloy rather than aluminium. Brass resists galling and thermal expansion so the ring will not jam on the lens barrel even after repeated mounting and removal cycles.

Knurled grip and anti-reflective lining

Knurled edges give a secure hold when fingers are cold or wet. A matte black felt finish on the inner surface absorbs stray light to reduce flare during long-exposure work.

Questions about this item

Will this let me use my 67mm filters on a lens with a 49mm thread?

Yes, the ring adapts a 49mm lens thread to accept 67mm filters, so your larger filters mount directly.

How does the brass construction affect mounting and removal compared with aluminium rings?

The brass frame is engineered to prevent binding and jamming, giving a smoother removal every time.

What is the outer diameter of the ring and will it clear a standard 67mm lens cap?

The ring takes 67mm threads, so a standard 67mm cap fits over the mounted filter; the ring itself adds minimal height.
