Nisi JetMag Pro 62-82MAG Magnetic Adaptor Kit

The Nisi JetMag Pro 62-82MAG Magnetic Adaptor Kit connects 82mm magnetic filters to lenses with 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, or 77mm threads. It suits photographers and videographers who want to use one filter system across multiple lens diameters without buying duplicate filters. The kit includes the magnetic adaptor ring and a protective front cap. It is designed for fast filter changes in the field.

Practical limits of the magnetic adaptor system

The adaptor ring only works with NiSi JetMag Pro 82MAG magnetic filters; it does not accept screw-in or other magnetic filter types. Compatibility is limited to the four listed lens thread sizes, so lenses outside that range cannot use this ring. The slim aluminium construction aims to prevent vignetting with wide-angle lenses, though extreme focal lengths may still show corner shading. No electronic communication passes through the ring.

Build quality and daily handling

The adaptor ring is machined from high-grade aluminium for a lightweight, durable feel that resists wear in demanding conditions. Its magnetic interface locks filters in place securely while allowing rapid swaps without threading. The included front cap attaches magnetically to the ring or filter, shielding the glass from dust and scratches when stored or between shots. Precision engineering keeps alignment consistent during repeated mounting cycles.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 62mm, 67mm, 72mm or 77mm thread option for my lens?

Match the thread size printed on your lens barrel — 62, 67, 72 or 77mm — to the corresponding adapter ring in the kit so the 82MAG filters mount securely.

How does the adapter affect image quality on a wide-angle lens?

The slim aluminum ring is engineered to prevent vignetting and maintains light transmission and color fidelity when 82MAG filters are used on wide-angle glass.

What does the 82MAG magnetic interface actually lock to?

The 82mm magnetic mount on the adapter ring accepts NiSi JetMag Pro 82MAG filters, letting you snap them on or off without threading.
