Magnetic Adapter Kit for 82mm Filters

The NiSi JetMag Pro kit lets photographers and videographers attach 82mm magnetic filters to lenses with 62mm, 67mm, 72mm or 77mm threads. It includes a magnetic adapter ring and a protective front cap for a complete filter integration solution. The system expands creative options without requiring duplicate filter purchases for different lens diameters.

Sustained Field Performance

Precision engineering keeps the adapter aligned and stable during extended shooting sessions, preventing shifts that degrade image quality. The magnetic connection allows rapid filter changes without threading delays, maintaining workflow momentum in fast-paced environments. Lightweight aluminum construction adds minimal mass to the lens front, preserving balance on gimbals or during handheld video work over long periods.

Build Quality and Daily Use

High-grade aluminum provides durable protection against wear while remaining slim enough to avoid vignetting on wide-angle lenses. The magnetic front cap secures directly to the adapter ring, shielding filter glass from dust and impacts when not shooting. Thread compatibility across four common sizes means a single adapter stays mounted on the lens, ready for any 82mm JetMag Pro filter in the kit.

Questions about this item

Does the aluminium adapter ring add noticeable weight or heat during all-day shooting?

The ring is built from lightweight aluminium and adds minimal mass, so it does not affect handling or generate heat during extended use.

Which lens thread sizes must I already own for the 82MAG magnetic adapter to work?

Your lenses need 62mm, 67mm, 72mm or 77mm front threads; the adapter then accepts 82MAG JetMag Pro filters magnetically.

Will the magnetic front cap stay secure on my older 77mm threaded lenses when the adapter is fitted?

Yes, the cap locks onto the magnetic adapter ring, not the lens threads, so it protects the filter stack on any supported thread size.
