Cinematic Diffusion for Portraits and Film

The NiSi JetMag Pro 82MAG Black Mist 1/8 filter softens highlights and reduces contrast to create a dreamy, nostalgic aesthetic. It is designed for photographers and videographers who want a cinematic look in creative portraiture and film production. The subtle 1/8 strength diffusion balances softness with preserved detail for clear, atmospheric footage.

Secure Magnetic Attachment Under Active Use

The JetMag Pro magnetic system allows the filter to be attached or removed in seconds for quick transitions during shoots. A patented locking mechanism keeps the filter securely in place even when stacked with other filters. This ensures stability and peace of mind during sustained handheld or rig-mounted operation.

82mm Thread Compatibility with Wide-Angle Lenses

The ultra-slim frame is engineered specifically to prevent vignetting when used with wide-angle lenses. Buyers whose lenses do not have an 82mm filter thread cannot use this filter directly without a separate adapter ring. The low-reflective nano-coating and durable optical glass maintain image quality by minimising glare and reflections.

Questions about this item

Does the magnetic mounting system add heat or noise during long shooting sessions?

The JetMag Pro magnetic system is entirely passive; it has no electronics, fans or moving parts, so it generates zero heat and no audible noise regardless of how long you shoot.

What lens thread size must I already have for this 82 filter to attach?

The filter is sized for an 82 mm front thread, so your lens must provide an 82 mm thread or you will need a step-up ring to reach that diameter.

Will the ultra-slim frame prevent vignetting when I stack this Black Mist 1/8 with my older circular polariser?

Yes, the ultra-slim frame is designed to avoid vignetting on wide-angle lenses even when the filter is stacked with other filters such as a circular polariser.
