Cinematic Black Mist 1/4 Filter

The NiSi JetMag Pro 95MAG Black Mist 1/4 filter diffuses highlights and reduces contrast to create a soft, dreamy aesthetic for photography and video. It delivers a subtle 1/4 strength diffusion that preserves overall sharpness while adding a nostalgic bloom to bright areas. This makes it well suited for portraiture, film production and atmospheric landscape work.

Magnetic Adapter Compatibility

Before ordering, verify that your lens uses one of the supported magnetic adapter rings: 82mm-95MAG, 86mm-95MAG or 95mm-95MAG. The filter attaches only to these specific JetMag Pro adapters, so an existing screw-in filter thread will not work without the correct magnetic ring. Ensure the adapter size matches your lens front diameter.

Ultra-Slim Magnetic Build

The ultra-slim frame prevents vignetting on wide-angle lenses, maintaining clean corners across the frame. A low-reflective nano-coating cuts glare and unwanted reflections for clearer results. The patented magnetic locking mechanism secures the filter firmly in place, even when stacked with other JetMag Pro filters, while allowing rapid attachment and removal during shoots.

Questions about this item

Does the JetMag Pro 95MAG Black Mist 1/4 filter come with a magnetic adapter ring or must I buy one separately?

The filter requires a compatible magnetic adapter ring; available sizes are 82mm-95MAG, 86mm-95MAG and 95mm-95MAG, each sold separately.

How do I choose between the 82mm, 86mm and 95mm magnetic adapter rings for this 95MAG filter?

Match the adapter ring to the front thread diameter of your lens — 82mm, 86mm or 95mm — so the 95MAG filter locks securely onto the ring.

What does the 1/4 Black Mist strength do to highlights and contrast when shooting?

It adds a subtle cinematic bloom to highlights, lowers contrast slightly and softens the image while preserving overall sharpness and detail.
