Complete Variable ND Kit

The NiSi JetMag Pro 95MAG kit delivers a full variable ND solution for photographers and filmmakers who work across multiple lenses. It includes the variable ND filter, three magnetic adapter rings, protective caps and a padded caddy pouch. The system covers 82mm, 86mm and 95mm lens threads for broad compatibility. Creators needing a fixed ND density or a different thread range are not served by this kit.

Optical Quality and Handling

High-quality optical glass with Nano Coating provides true-to-life colour reproduction and neutral tones across the full range. The aluminium ring construction resists daily wear while the magnetic mounting system enables rapid, secure filter changes. No power draw, thermal output or acoustic noise is generated by this passive optical accessory. Users who require electronic communication between filter and camera body will not find it here.

Sustained Field Performance

The variable ND operates from 1 to 5 stops with built-in hard stops at both ends, preventing accidental over-rotation during extended shoots. True Color technology maintains consistent colour accuracy whether shooting stills in RAW or video in LOG profiles. The magnetic caps and padded pouch protect the glass during transport and between takes. Videographers needing a motorised or remotely controlled ND solution are not addressed by this manual filter.

Questions about this item

How do I install the magnetic adapter rings on my 82mm, 86mm or 95mm lens threads and what is the step people often get wrong?

Screw the correct magnetic adapter ring onto the lens thread first, then snap the Variable ND onto the ring magnetically; the step often missed is fitting the adapter ring before the filter.

What maintenance or replacement will the Nano Coating on the optical glass need over time?

Clean the Nano Coating gently with a microfibre cloth and lens fluid; the coating is durable and does not require scheduled replacement if handled carefully.

At what density limit does the Variable ND hit its hard stop during sustained bright-light use?

The built-in hard stop engages at the 5-stop (ND32) position, preventing further rotation beyond maximum density.
