Nisi UV IR-Cut Filter 82mm for Swift System and True Color VND

Swift System UV IR-Cut Filter 82mm

The NiSi UV IR-Cut Filter is an 82mm filter built for the NiSi Swift System and True Color VND 1-5 stops. It targets videographers and photographers using cameras that lack an internal IR filter, such as Blackmagic Pocket and RED cinema cameras. The filter blocks ultraviolet rays below 390nm and infrared rays above 700nm while preserving the visible light spectrum for accurate colour reproduction.

Multi-Coated Glass with Magnetic Swift Mount

The filter features professional multi-coating on optical glass to reduce reflections and maintain image clarity. It mounts magnetically onto the Swift System adapter ring or directly onto the front of the NiSi True Color VND 1-5 stops filter. This press-on design allows rapid stacking without threads, so users can add or remove the IR-cut layer in seconds during a shoot.

Passive Optical Filter — No Power or Noise

As a passive glass filter it draws no power, generates no heat and produces no audible noise. It does not affect exposure compensation beyond the spectral cut, so existing ND calculations remain valid. The slim frame avoids vignetting on wide-angle lenses when used within the Swift System stack.
