Five-fan laptop cooler for portable machines

The NO. C5 cooler uses five built-in fans to draw heat away from laptops and ultrabooks up to 15.6 inches. A metal-mesh surface and plastic frame combine to create a stable platform that sits flat on a desk. The unit connects via a 0.5-metre USB cable and weighs 0.6 kg, making it easy to carry alongside a notebook.

Adjustable height frees desk space and airflow

Two tilt settings raise the rear of the cooler so the keyboard angle suits typing while the extra gap underneath lets cool air reach the intake vents. The slim profile leaves room for a separate mouse pad or external drive on the same surface. Power comes from the laptop itself, so no extra mains adapter is required.

Suits daily office work and light media use

Buyers who want a quiet, low-profile cooler for typical productivity tasks will find the five-fan layout adequate. Users running sustained heavy loads such as video rendering or gaming sessions that push thermals higher should look at larger coolers with higher airflow ratings.

Questions about this item

How long is the USB power cable on the C5 cooler?

The integrated power lead measures .5 metres, long enough to reach a laptop port or nearby hub without strain.

How much does the C5 add to the weight of a 15.6 inch setup?

The cooler itself weighs .6 kg, so a typical notebook plus stand stays light enough for lap use.

Does the C5 need an external power adapter or does it run from the laptop?

It draws power directly from a USB port on the laptop, so no separate adapter is required.
