GT 650W ATX Power Supply

The GT 650W is a desktop power supply rated above 500W with 80PLUS Gold efficiency and fully modular cables. It follows the ATX 12V 2.31 standard and uses Active PFC for stable delivery. The unit targets builders assembling desktop computers that need reliable 650W output.

Practical limits of ATX 12V 2.31

The standard caps combined 12V current so total 12V power cannot exceed the unit’s 650W rating. Multi-channel 12V operation is not supported, so all 12V loads share the same rail. Cable count is fixed at two 8-pin CPU, two 8-pin plus two 6-pin GPU, six SATA and four D-type connectors.

Single 12V rail without multi-channel support

All 12V output comes from one rail, which simplifies wiring but means heavy GPU and CPU draws compete for the same current pool. Builds that require independent 12V rails for extreme overclocking or dual-GPU configurations should look elsewhere.
