Smart E-Ink Case for iPhone 13/14/15

This NFC-powered case adds a customisable four-colour e-ink display to the back of compatible iPhone models. It draws energy directly from the phone via NFC, so there is no battery to charge and no Bluetooth pairing required. The case is aimed at users who want to personalise their device with changing images without adding bulk or daily maintenance.

Slim silicone shell with microfibre lining

The flexible liquid-silicone body keeps the phone's original profile while the soft inner lining protects the glass back from scratches. Because the display module is unpowered when static, it does not require a cut-out for a battery or charging port, leaving the Lightning or USB-C connector fully accessible. The case simply snaps on and communicates with the companion app through the phone's built-in NFC reader.

Passive display with zero power draw

The e-ink screen only consumes energy during the brief moment an image is updated via NFC, so it adds no measurable drain to the iPhone's battery in normal use. There are no fans, lights or active electronics to generate heat or noise. The four-colour panel retains the last image indefinitely without power, making it silent and thermally neutral during everyday carry.

Questions about this item

How long does the E-Ink display keep an image before it fades without power?

The case uses NFC link technology to refresh the four-colour E-Ink screen, so the image remains visible indefinitely without any battery or charging required.

Does the case become warm or draw noticeable power from the phone during all-day use?

No charging or Bluetooth is needed; the display only draws a tiny NFC burst when you update the picture, so heat and power impact are negligible.

Which iPhone models and software are required for the NFC projection to work?

The case fits iPhone 13, 14 and 15 and requires the exclusive Smart Cover app to send custom images from your gallery to the screen via NFC.
