Universal Waterproof Protection

The No Sew 178TY is an IPX8-certified floating phone pouch designed for smartphones up to 7 inches. It shields devices from water, sand and dust at depths up to 30 meters or 100 feet. The transparent PVC windows maintain touchscreen responsiveness and allow Face ID unlocking while the phone stays sealed inside.

Check Device Fit and Security

Verify your phone dimensions do not exceed 6.9 inches and its weight stays under 360 grams so the built-in airbag keeps it buoyant. Ensure the triple-lock seal closes fully before every use and attach the adjustable lanyard securely. Remember that Touch ID fingerprint unlocking will not work through the cover.

Upgrade From Basic Dry Bags

This pouch replaces simple zip-lock bags or non-floating cases that sink and block camera use. The jump is worth it when you need certified depth protection, automatic flotation and clear windows for underwater photos and video. It is not for buyers who need a rugged hard-shell case with drop-rated corners or a mountable housing for action-camera rigs.
