What It Is

The Paul Frank 274 is a two-pack of IPX8-certified waterproof phone pouches designed to protect phones up to 8.5 inches along with cash, cards and keys. Each pouch uses a three-layer lock-down seal and a clear touch-sensitive window so the screen stays usable while the device stays dry.

Who It Suits

Beach-goers, swimmers and travellers who want a floating dry bag that keeps a phone and small valuables together will find the double-space layout and adjustable lanyard practical. Buyers who need a rigid hard-shell case, a mounting system for handlebars, or a pouch that fits a phone inside a bulky protective cover should look elsewhere.

Deciding Spec

The IPX8 waterproof rating is the single specification that confirms the pouch can be submerged and still keep contents dry, making it the deciding factor for any water-based activity.

Questions about this item

How do I choose between the two pouches in the 2-pack?

The pack includes a black pouch and a pink pouch; both share the same 8.5-inch capacity, IPX8 rating and floating design, so pick the colour you prefer or assign one per person.

What does IPX8 mean when I am actually in the water?

IPX8 certifies the pouch stays watertight during continuous immersion, so your phone, cards and cash remain dry while swimming, snorkelling or floating at the surface.

Will the clear window still let me use the touchscreen and take photos underwater?

Yes, the transparent touch-sensitive window works with finger input and camera lenses while the phone stays sealed inside the PVC pouch.
