Ready-to-use alkaline button cells

This pack contains five AG3 alkaline button cells rated at 1.5 volts and 35 milliampere-hours each. They are designed as direct replacements for LR41, 392, 384, 192 and other common button-cell designations used in small electronic devices.

Check your device before ordering

Verify that the equipment requires a 1.5 volt alkaline cell in the AG3/LR41 form factor, which measures 7.85 millimetres in diameter and 3.5 millimetres thick. Devices that specify a 3 volt lithium cell such as a CR1225 or a different alkaline size will not work with these batteries.

Fits compact gadgets and frees up spares

The sealed, leak-resistant construction suits digital thermometers, watches, calculators, laser pointers, car remote keys and similar low-drain items. A five-count card keeps a few spares on hand without the bulk of larger multipacks, and the printed production date with a three-year shelf life helps you rotate stock.

Questions about this item

Does the 5-pack card include everything I need to power a digital thermometer or do I need extra hardware?

The card holds five AG3 1.5 V alkaline button cells rated at 35 mAh each; no additional hardware is required — just insert the cell into the device's battery compartment.

Should I choose the 5-pack or a larger 10-count card for a household with several thermometers and watches?

The 5-pack supplies five cells; a 10-count card doubles that quantity, so the larger card is more convenient if you maintain multiple devices at once.

What does the 35 mAh capacity mean for real-world runtime in a typical digital thermometer?

At 35 mAh the cell can deliver a few milliamps for many hours; in a low-drain thermometer this typically translates to months of continuous use before voltage drops to the 0.9 V cut-off.
