What you get

This pack contains ten AG8 alkaline button cells rated at 1.5 volts and 45 milliamp-hours each. They suit watches, calculators, remote controls, toys, cameras and similar low-drain devices.

Installation notes

Each cell measures about 11.6 millimetres in diameter and 2.0 millimetres thick, so it fits standard AG8/LR1120 compartments. Insert the positive side as marked to avoid a short circuit. Do not recharge, expose to fire or store in damp conditions.

Deciding specification

The critical figure is the 1.5 volt nominal voltage combined with the 45 milliamp-hour capacity. Devices that require a higher voltage or a different chemistry such as silver-oxide will not operate correctly with these alkaline cells.
