118W USB-C Power Adapter

The Furgor PD-118W is a new 118W USB-C power adapter supplied with a 6.6ft USB-C to USB-C cable. It delivers up to 118 watts through USB Power Delivery and accepts 240 volts AC input. The unit includes over-voltage, over-current, temperature and short-circuit protection with auto recovery. It is intended as a replacement charger for compatible laptops and mobile devices.

Suits USB-C laptops needing up to 118W

This adapter suits owners of MacBook Pro 13, 14, 15 and 16 inch models from 2016 to 2024, MacBook Air 13 and 15 inch models from 2018 to 2024, iPad Pro and Air models with USB-C, plus other USB-C laptops, tablets and phones that accept PD profiles up to 118W. Buyers whose devices require a proprietary barrel connector or a higher fixed voltage not covered by USB PD should look at a different power supply.

118W maximum output power

The single specification that decides fit is the 118W maximum output power combined with USB Power Delivery negotiation. Your device must support a PD profile up to 118W to draw the full rating; if it only accepts lower PD steps such as 61W, 67W, 87W or 96W the adapter will still operate but will not provide its peak capacity.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Furgor PD-118W is delivering the full 118W to my MacBook Pro 16-inch M3 2023 after plugging it in?

The adapter supports USB PD models up to 96W and intelligently negotiates the correct power level; your MacBook's battery menu will show the active wattage while charging.

What is included with the PD-118W and do I need to purchase any extra cables for my MacBook Air 15-inch M2 2023?

The box contains the 118W USB-C power adapter and a 6.6ft USB-C to USB-C cable, so no separate cable is required for any listed MacBook model.

Which PD-118W version should I choose for a MacBook Pro 14-inch M2 2022 versus a MacBook Air 13-inch M1 2020?

There is only one PD-118W model; it automatically adjusts output to match 96W, 87W, 67W, 61W, 30W or 29W PD profiles for both machines.
