Open-Ear USB-C Headset

The Topaux000176 is a wired headset with an open-ear design and adjustable over-ear hooks. It connects through a USB Type-C plug and includes in-line controls for volume, calls and voice-assistant activation. A zipper storage case and a cable-fixer clip are supplied.

Sustained-Use Comfort

The hooks can be set at a 15-degree angle to suit different ear shapes, and the lightweight build avoids pressure during long sessions. The tangle-free cord with oxygen-free copper core maintains flexibility when worn for study, commuting or extended calls.

USB-C Audio Limits

Audio is delivered through the host device's USB-C digital-audio path, so output quality depends on the phone, tablet or laptop DAC. The headset presents a 32-ohm load and a 20000-hertz upper frequency response, and it works only with devices that support USB-C audio output.

Questions about this item

Does the open-ear design with adjustable hooks leak sound or cause fatigue during all-day use?

The open-ear style sits outside the ear canal so air circulates naturally, reducing heat buildup; the 15-degree adjustable hooks spread contact pressure across the ear rather than clamping inside, which helps comfort over long sessions.

Which devices can I plug the Type C connector into without an adapter?

The headset works with USB-C audio devices including iPhone 15, 16 and 17 series, Samsung S26 series, Google Pixel phones, plus compatible tablets and laptops that support digital audio over USB-C.

Will the in-line volume and call controls work with my older USB-C phone that only supports analogue audio out?

The built-in DAC handles digital-to-analogue conversion inside the cable, so the remote and microphone function on any host that accepts USB audio class input, regardless of whether the port also carries an analogue signal.
