Universal Waterproof Phone Pouch

This clear protective pouch fits smartphones up to seven inches diagonal and provides a watertight barrier against water, snow, rain and dust. It allows full touchscreen operation while the device remains sealed inside. The transparent windows on both sides enable photo and video capture above and below the surface. An adjustable neck strap is included for hands-free carrying.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The pouch has no electronic components and therefore generates no heat, produces no noise and draws no power. It relies on a passive triple-layer locking mechanism to maintain the waterproof seal. Performance depends entirely on proper closure and careful handling during use. No battery or external power source is required for operation.

Upgrade From Basic Bags

This pouch replaces simple zip-lock bags or non-waterproof sleeves that lack a secure sealing system and clear optical windows. The jump is worth it when you need reliable submersion protection and full touchscreen access during water activities. It is not for buyers who need a hard-shell case with impact resistance or a floating design for automatic retrieval.

Questions about this item

How do I install my phone into the WP2023 pouch and what step do people often get wrong?

Place the phone inside the 6.5 x 4.5 x 4.0 in compartment, then press all three layers of the locking mechanism firmly together until each snap clicks; the step most users miss is fully engaging the third inner seal before submerging the pouch.

What maintenance or replacement will the WP2023 need over time?

Rinse the clear windows with fresh water after salt or chlorine exposure, inspect the triple-layer seal for grit or tears before each use, and replace the adjustable neck strap if the clasp loosens or the webbing frays.

What limit appears first during sustained underwater use of the WP2023?

The 6.5 x 4.5 x 4.0 in internal volume traps a finite air pocket; as depth increases that air compresses, reducing buoyancy and pressing the clear windows against the touchscreen until touch response degrades.
