Nomaco Kflex Pipe Insulation
Nomaco Kflex 6RX068200 is a 6 ft length of pipe insulation with a 3/4 in wall thickness. It fits 1-1/2 in pipe and has a 2 in nominal inside diameter. The black elastomeric foam suits residential and commercial plumbing installations.
Unslit Design and Material
The unslit insulation body uses NBR/PVC based elastomeric material for flexible fitting around existing pipework. It requires separate adhesive or tape for sealing seams. The 3/4 in wall adds thermal protection without excessive bulk in tight joist spaces.
Temperature Range and R-Value
Rated from -297 to 220 degrees F, the insulation handles extreme cold lines and hot water distribution. Its approximate R-value of 4.5 reduces heat loss on domestic hot water runs. It is not intended for continuous steam service above the rated maximum.

Questions about this item
What is the lowest temperature this insulation can handle before performance drops?
The material is rated for continuous use down to minus 297 degrees Fahrenheit, so it remains flexible and effective in extreme cold.
How much heat does the insulation retain when hot water runs through the pipe all day?
With an approximate R-value of 4.5 and a 3/4-inch wall, it limits heat loss effectively up to the 220-degree Fahrenheit service limit.
What pipe diameter must I already have for this 6-foot length to fit?
It is sized for 1-1/2-inch nominal pipe, giving a 2-inch nominal inside diameter when installed.
