90-Degree Elbow Fitting

The Nomaco Kflex 801-LRE-100118 is a 90-degree elbow pipe fitting designed for insulating copper tubing and iron piping. It fits a tube size of 1-1/8 in and a pipe insulation size of 3/4 in. The black NBR/PVC based elastomeric material suits mechanical contractors and HVAC installers working on ducts, tanks and piping systems.

Temperature Range and R-Value

The insulation operates from -297 Degrees F to 220 Degrees F, providing an approximate R-value of 7.1 with a 1 in wall thickness. This capacity handles extreme cold and moderate heat in commercial and industrial lines. It runs out where service temperatures exceed 220 Degrees F or where a higher R-value is specified by the engineer.

Dimensions and Identification

The fitting measures 37/64 in length and 2-1/8 in width with a nominal inside diameter of 1-1/8 in. These exact dimensions allow quick verification against job specifications without trial fitting. No additional accessories or software are bundled; the product is the insulation elbow alone.

Questions about this item

Will the 1-1/8" fitting sit flush on my existing 3/4" copper piping?

The elbow is sized for 1-1/8" tube I.D. and 3/4" pipe insulation, so it matches standard copper dimensions without gaps.

How do I confirm the NBR/PVC elbow is sealing at the 90-degree bend after installation?

Check that the black elastomeric wall sits tight along the full 37/64" length with no visible gaps; the material stays flexible from -297°F to 220°F.

Does the K-FLEX 801-LRE-100118 come with adhesive or tape, or must I buy them separately?

The box contains only the pre-formed 1-inch thick elastomeric elbow; any contact adhesive or vapour-barrier tape is purchased separately.
