Built for 3–7 day trips

The NOMATIC 40L Travel Bag V2 is a carry-on sized backpack designed for modern travellers who need one bag for clothing, tech and accessories. Durable water-resistant materials protect contents from weather and rough handling while the patented strap system converts the pack from duffel to backpack carry in seconds.

Organised travellers yes — minimalists look

It suits people who want dedicated pockets for a 16 x 10.5 x 1.5 inch laptop, shoes, liquids, a water bottle and a custom laundry bag plus a TSA-ready flap that keeps electronics in place at security. Travellers who prefer a lighter frameless pack or who only carry a change of clothes will find the feature set and 40 litre volume unnecessary.

Holds shape when fully packed

The wide 19 x 12 inch main opening lets you load the bag to capacity without bulging and the structured panels keep the silhouette stable on conveyor belts and overhead bins. Water-resistant fabric and reinforced seams handle repeated compression cycles so the bag performs the same on day seven as it did on day one.

Questions about this item

What laptop size does the 16" x 10.5" x 1.5" compartment accept?

The dedicated sleeve fits laptops up to 16 inches diagonally, with a depth of 1.5 inches for thicker machines.

Will the 19" x 12" main opening still fit in overhead bins on older regional jets?

The bag meets standard carry-on dimensions, so it complies with the same size limits those aircraft enforce.

How can I confirm the TSA-ready flap works at the checkpoint?

Lay the bag flat, unfold the laptop section completely, and the scanner will see the device without removal.
