Pure Gold 8.0 oz acrylic paint

This FolkArt acrylic paint delivers a metallic Pure Gold finish in an 8.0 oz bottle. The water-based formula covers wood, paper, canvas, Styrofoam and paper mache with full opacity. It is suited to interior craft projects that need a single, ready-to-use colour.

8.0 oz volume for multi-session work

The 8.0 fluid-ounce capacity supports several basecoating or stenciling sessions before a refill is needed. Coverage remains consistent across the listed surfaces, while the metallic texture limits transparency for layering effects. Very large murals or exterior jobs will exceed the practical volume.

Bottle format fits standard storage

The 1.93 L x 1.93 W x 6.5 H inch bottle stands upright on shelves and seals with a screw cap for shelf-life protection. Clean-up requires only soap and water while the paint is wet. No solvents, special primers or proprietary tools are required to start work.

Questions about this item

Will the 8.0 oz Pure Gold acrylic bond to the wood and canvas pieces I already have?

Yes, the paint is formulated for wood, paper, canvas, Styrofoam and paper mache, so it will adhere to those surfaces you are keeping.

How can I confirm the Pure Gold finish has cured properly on my project?

The surface feels dry to the touch and shows a consistent metallic matte appearance once the water has evaporated.

Does the 871 bottle include brushes or a palette, or do I need to buy them separately?

The box contains only the 8.0 oz bottle of paint; brushes, palettes and any sealers must be purchased separately.
