Multi-surface antibacterial aerosol

Pledge Antibacterial Multi Surface Cleaner Spray is an aerosol formulated to kill certain bacteria on sealed hard surfaces throughout the home. The 9.7 oz can delivers a gentle, worry-free formula that cleans electronics, glass, mirrors, sealed stone, laminate, stainless steel and sealed wood without leaving harsh chemical residue.

Bacteria and virus coverage limits

The product is effective against Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enterica, Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae, plus H1N1 virus. It does not claim activity against other bacteria, viruses, fungi or spores, so surfaces requiring broader antimicrobial control will need a different disinfectant.

Capacity and surface headroom

The 9.7 oz volume suits routine cleaning of multiple sealed surfaces such as countertops, appliances and electronics. Very large areas or heavily soiled jobs will consume the can quickly, and the formula is not intended for unsealed, porous or fabric materials where residue or moisture could cause damage.

Questions about this item

Which size of the Pledge Everyday Cleaner aerosol should I choose?

The product is offered in a single 9.7 oz can, so there are no alternative capacities to select from.

What does the 9.7 oz fill volume mean for actual cleaning tasks?

It provides enough spray for multiple whole-home sessions on sealed surfaces such as countertops, electronics, glass and stainless steel.

What delivery system does the can use and what does that limit in practice?

The aerosol propellant produces a fine mist for even coverage, but the can must stay upright and cannot be refilled once empty.
