Purpose and audience

This Nord desk lamp delivers 1400 lumens from a 20 W integrated LED. The single-lamp design suits home offices, reading nooks or bedside tables where a compact, adjustable light source is needed. It is not intended for buyers who want a multi-head fixture or a higher-output unit for large workspaces.

Practical limits of the standard

The lamp offers five selectable colour temperatures at 2700 K, 3000 K, 4000 K, 5000 K and 6500 K. Full dimming lets you reduce output from the maximum 1400 lumens to suit the task. The fixed 20 W power draw and integrated LED mean the light engine cannot be swapped for a different wattage or lumen package.

Installation and common issues

The flush-mount format requires a standard ceiling junction box and basic wiring skills; the white plastic diffuser snaps on after the electrical connection is made. CSA listing and Energy Star qualification confirm the unit meets recognised safety and efficiency baselines. The most frequent issue is discovering the integrated LED is not user-replaceable once it reaches end of life.
