Recessed LED Downlight

The Nord 4-inch canless recessed downlight replaces legacy recessed cans in finished ceilings. It delivers 750 lumens at 12 watts and offers five selectable colour temperatures from 2700K to 6500K. The 90-plus CRI output renders colours and skin tones naturally. It suits residential rooms and commercial spaces alike.

Integrated Tethered J-Box

The built-in tethered J-Box removes the requirement for a separate recessed housing. Installers connect wiring directly to the junction box and mount the trim flush to the ceiling. This accessory simplifies retrofit work and new-construction installs. No extra can or bracket is needed.

Installation Notes

The fixture fits into a standard 4-inch cut-out and secures with spring clips. Dimming works with most compatible wall dimmers. The preset colour temperature is chosen during installation and cannot be changed without removing the trim. Wet-rated construction allows use in bathrooms and covered outdoor soffits.

Questions about this item

How long before the integrated LED needs replacing?

The integrated LED is rated for 50,000 hours or about 45.7 years of average use, so replacement is unlikely for decades.

What limits continuous output during all-day operation?

The 12-watt power draw and integrated thermal design set the sustained output at 750 lumens without a separate heatsink or fan.

How much heat or noise does it produce when left on all day?

It runs silently with no fan; the 12-watt LED generates only modest warmth and the estimated yearly energy cost is 1.45.
