Adjustable gimbal downlight

The Nord LLEDR4XT/ADJ/5CCT is a 700-lumen LED canless recessed downlight with an adjustable gimbal that directs light where it is needed. It offers five selectable white colour temperatures from 2700K to 6500K and installs without an existing can or junction box. The unit is wet-location rated for indoor and outdoor use.

Installers needing flexible aim and colour choice

This downlight suits projects that require directional lighting and the ability to change colour temperature on site. It is not for buyers who want a fixed non-adjustable trim, a higher lumen output than 700, or a fixture that requires a traditional recessed housing for installation.

700 lumen output

The 700 lumen rating is the key figure that determines whether this downlight provides enough brightness for the intended space. Match this number to the illumination level required for the specific application before purchasing.

Questions about this item

What ceiling cut-out size does the 4-inch gimbal need?

Cut the drywall to the dimensions shown on the instruction sheet; the spring-loaded clips then pull the canless kit tight for an airtight seal.

How do I wire the 700-lumen unit without a junction box?

Run Romex from line voltage through the knockout to the quick-connect terminal, then daisy-chain additional Romex from that terminal to the next kit.

When will the colour-selectable LED module need replacing?

The integrated LED array is not user-replaceable; the fixture is designed to last the rated lifetime of the light engine.
