Six-pack canless wafer downlights

This six-pack supplies 6-inch canless LED wafer downlights that install directly into drywall without a housing. Each unit delivers switchable white colour temperature and adjustable lumen output in a slim profile suited to ceilings with limited plenum space. The design is certified for wet locations and IC rated for direct contact with insulation. Dimming goes down to 10 percent for flexible light levels.

Suits retrofit projects needing slim fixtures

Installers working on remodel or new-construction jobs with as little as 3 inches of plenum depth will benefit from the housing-free design. The wet-location rating allows use in bathrooms, covered porches or other damp areas. Buyers who require a traditional can housing or a fixed single colour temperature should consider other fixture types.

Switchable 2700 K to 5000 K and 800 1050 1300 lumens

Two onboard switches let you select colour temperature between 2700 K warm white and 5000 K daylight, and lumen output at 800, 1050 or 1300 lumens per unit. This single specification replaces 15 static product variants and determines whether the downlight matches the desired ambience and brightness for the space.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 800, 1050 or 1300 lumen setting for a home office?

The switch on each downlight steps through 800, 1050 and 1300 lumens so you can match the brightness to the room size and task without changing fixtures.

What does the 1050 lumen rating mean once the light is installed?

At the middle setting each unit delivers 1050 lumens of switchable white light, dimmable down to 10 percent, giving ample task illumination for a typical desk area.

How does the colour-temperature switch work and what range does it cover?

A second toggle on the fitting cycles between 2700 K warm white and 5000 K daylight so you can shift the light colour to suit the time of day or activity.
