Designer Series Guitar Cable

This FOREST GREEN Designer Series cable connects electric guitars and other instruments using 1/4 inch straight plugs on both ends. It is built for musicians who want a durable, flexible lead for stage, studio or practice use. The nylon braid sleeve adds protection and makes coiling simple.

24 awg OFC centre conductor

The cable uses a 24 awg oxygen-free copper centre conductor with a polyethylene dielectric and a black carbon PE layer that eliminates microphonic handling noise. A spiral shield and PVC outer jacket further reduce interference while resisting abrasion and sharp edges.

16 style options

The Designer Series comes in 16 different colour styles so players can match their cable to their aesthetic. Heavy-duty all-metal connectors with matte nickel plating ensure reliable contact. Buyers needing right-angle plugs or balanced XLR terminations will need a different cable.

Questions about this item

How does the 24 AWG centre conductor behave in a high-impedance guitar circuit?

The 24 AWG oxygen-free copper conductor is wrapped in a black carbon PE layer that eliminates microphonics, so handling noise stays low even with high-impedance pickups.

What does the spiral shield actually stop in everyday use?

A spiral shield surrounds the dielectric to further reduce electromagnetic noise, giving quieter operation when the cable runs near power supplies or lighting rigs.

Will the nylon braid and PVC jacket fit standard pedalboard routing?

The nylon braid sleeving adds flexibility for tight coils, while the PVC outer jacket resists sharp edges and abrasion, so the cable threads cleanly through typical pedalboard channels.
