Compact Manual Trimmer Set

The Northwest NHT514 is a five-piece set of manual nose hair trimmers designed for men and women who prefer a battery-free grooming tool. Each unit features a dual-ended design with a stainless steel blade on one side and a soft silicone brush on the other. The trimmer operates with a simple 360° rotating motion to remove unwanted nasal hair. Its compact size and light weight of .009 kilograms make it easy to store in a toiletry bag.

Consistent Cutting Without Power

Because the trimmer is entirely manual, its cutting action remains steady for as long as the user rotates the handle; there is no motor to slow down or battery to deplete during a session. The .35 inch blade head fits inside the nostril and trims hair on contact with the comb-like guard teeth. After trimming, the silicone brush end clears away debris without the vibration or noise of an electric device. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion from repeated rinsing.

Limits of Manual Operation

The tool requires the user to supply all rotational force, so thick or dense hair may need more passes than a powered trimmer would require. The fixed .35 inch blade diameter cannot be adjusted for wider or narrower nostrils. Cleaning is restricted to water rinsing and air drying, as no disassembly is described. Users who want a vacuum suction feature, a built-in light, or interchangeable heads will not find those functions in this manual model.

Questions about this item

How much noise does the manual NHT514 trimmer make during all-day use?

The trimmer is described as low noise and operates without a motor, so it produces only the quiet sound of the stainless steel blade rotating by hand.

What power source or battery does the NHT514 require to operate?

No power source or battery is needed; the trimmer is completely manual and works by rotating the 0.35 inch blade head with your fingers.

Can the NHT514 be cleaned with the same routine I use for my older electric trimmers?

Yes, rinse the trimmer with water and cleaning solution after each use, then air-dry it thoroughly before storing it in its case.
