Purpose & Fit

This 2-pack supplies two 6 V 225 Ah AGM batteries built for deep-cycle service. They suit golf carts, RVs, marine craft, wheelchairs, solar storage and off-grid backup where sustained reserve capacity matters. Buyers needing a higher-voltage single block or a lithium chemistry should look elsewhere.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The AGM plates deliver up to 500 charge-discharge cycles with a self-discharge rate below 3 %. Maximum short-burst discharge reaches 1400 A for five seconds, while charging voltage sits between 7.4 V and 7.5 V for controlled replenishment.

Thermals Noise & Power

Sealed ABS construction removes electrolyte leakage and eliminates watering chores. No moving parts means silent operation. Each unit weighs 65 lbs and measures 10.24 x 6.65 x 9.69 inches with M8 terminals for secure cable attachment.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 6 V 225 Ah AGM pack generate when run all day?

The AGM design is maintenance-free and leak-proof with a low self-discharge rate under 3 %, so continuous operation produces minimal heat compared with flooded cells.

What existing equipment is required to charge the two batteries?

A charger that delivers 7.4 V to 7.5 V per 6 V block is needed, plus cables or bus bars to handle the M8 terminals and the 1400 A peak discharge rating.

Will these 65 lb units fit the same tray as my old V6-225 lead-acid batteries?

Each battery measures 10.24 x 6.65 x 9.69 inches; verify those dimensions against your current tray before swapping.
