Direct replacement for Optiplex SFF systems

This 240 W unit is built for Dell Optiplex 390, 790, 990 and 3010 small-form-factor desktops. It matches the original CCCVC H240AS-00 specification so the chassis, cabling and mounting points line up without adapters. IT teams and home users restoring these models get a new, drop-in power source that restores factory power delivery.

Steady 240 W output under continuous load

The supply maintains its rated 240 W during extended operation rather than only in short peaks, keeping voltage rails stable for the CPU, integrated graphics and peripheral slots typical of these Optiplex builds. Thermal design follows the original SFF layout, so airflow stays consistent inside the compact case. Systems that need more headroom for discrete graphics cards or additional drives will require a different chassis and power solution.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 240 W unit dump into a small-form-factor case after hours of load?

It draws up to 240 W from the wall; all of that energy becomes heat inside the chassis, so case airflow must handle the full 240 W thermal load.

Which motherboard power connectors must my OptiPlex 390, 790, 990 or 3010 already have for this supply to plug in?

The unit is built for those SFF models and uses the proprietary CCCVC connector that mates directly with the OptiPlex 390, 790, 990 and 3010 motherboards.
